tradition golf club

When you follow Washington Drive south in La Quinta and come to the end… you have reached the Tradition Golf Club.  As you enter the hacienda style guard gate a surprising amount of land opens up beneath the mountains. Tradition Golf Club  is a private club nestled at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains which is rated as one of America’s top 100 golf communities by Travel and Leisure magazine. Tradition Golf Club boasts an 18-hole championship course and a 9-hole par 3 course, each impeccably designed by Arnold Palmer for a rewarding golf experience regardless of one’s skill level. In fact, Arnold Palmer has his home here!  When designing the course, Palmer took the nearby mountain and incorporated it into the design.  There are huge elevation changes on some of the holes that make it even more challenging and fun to play.  Tradition’s new fitness center and spa is now open and social/fitness memberships are available for non-golfers.
